Introduction
Managers today are often required to facilitate rather than direct. Different skills are required when the role demands an approach that encourages participation from a team and motivating high performance through involvement. This workshop is designed to develop the skills need to do this effectively.
Objective
The workshop is designed to enable participants to be able to:
- Identify different styles and approaches required for facilitation
- Create positive climates in groups and teams
- Demonstrate techniques for facilitating group discussion
- Use a range of techniques for facilitating problem solving and decision making
- Use a range of strategies for resolving difficulties in groups and teams.
Audience
- Any manager who needs to work in a team based organisational culture.
- Any staff who regularly work with groups of people together.
