The perceived �difficult� person can be a drain on your time, patience and energy or worse still have a devastating effect on the team. This vital skill will help you build and maintain positive and productive working relationships with staff, customers and suppliers.
Objective
During this workshop we will cover:
- Why conflict arises. We will look at some of the causes of conflict inherent in organisations.
- Different styles in managing conflict. Do you avoid conflict, or tackle it head on? In this session you will have the opportunity to analyse your own style and preferences when it comes to dealing with conflict situations
- Conflict management strategies. If a conflict arises at work, what do you do for the best? Here we will consider the actions managers can take in different types of conflict situations
