Introduction
Almost all jobs require people to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, or people in other organisation. Problems and conflicts are often the result of poor communication. Managers particularly need to be skilled communicators to maintain positive relationships and manage their business areas effectively. This workshop is designed to give people an understanding of the processes and complexities of communication, and develop their communication skills.
Objective
The workshop is designed to enable participants to be able to:
- Describe the communication process
- Explain the complexities of communication
- Identifying ways of improving listening skills
- Use questioning techniques effectively
- Use awareness of body language to improve communication
- Clearly present logical and persuasive argument
- Negotiate effectively whilst maintaining positive relationships
Audience
- All levels of management.
- Any staff who need to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, customers or suppliers.
